MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- A Milwaukee man is being called a hero for jumping into action after a horrific accident.
Last Saturday, a car ran a stop sign and slammed into an S-U-V, which then hit a second car.
Chico Quinones lives near the intersection and came out to help.
He heard a baby's cries and saw her hanging from a car seat inside the S-U-V.
"I'm scared that the car might catch on fire because of the situation, I'm smelling gasoline very strongly," said Quinones.
The other neighbors helped rescue the child's mother.
Paramedics say everyone survived with just cuts and bruises, and no serious injuries.
