MADISON (WKOW) -- The Dane County Board of Supervisors has approved the location for a new day shelter.
It'll open at 827 East Washington Avenue at the end of this month, where the Lussier Teen Center used to be. The County Executive's Office says this is a temporary shelter for the winter and the lease ends on March 31.
The shelter will be open seven days a week and is designed to be open when night shelters aren't.
