MADISON (WKOW)-- A strange twist on an old Christmas classic. Old World Wisconsin is hosting "The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge" Friday night and Saturday.
The play is said to be a sequel of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol." It begins with Scrooge filing a lawsuit against the ghosts of Christmas and his late business partner Jacob Marley.
Scrooge is pursuing charges for breaking and entering, kidnapping, slander and inflicting emotional distress he endured during the Christmas Eve haunting.
A buffet will be served before each performance. Tickets cost $65 for adults and $50 for children.
Old World Wisconsin is located just outside of Eagle. The historic site features dozens of old historic buildings that have been collected from around the state.
