
MADISON (WKOW) -- There's an air quality alert for south-central and eastern Wisconsin.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources put the alert out Sunday. It cites particle pollution and is rated orange, which means the air quality could be unhealthy for people in sensitive groups. The alert is set to expire at noon on Monday.
The alert affects Dane, Rock, Jefferson and Dodge Counties, as well as more than a dozen others, including: Brown, Calumet, Fond du Lac, Kenosha, Manitowoc, Milwaukee, Outagamie, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan, Walworth, Washington and Winnebago.
