Apes go through mid-life crises too

MADISON (WKOW)-- It's not just humans that go through mid-life crises.

The Journal of Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences says, chimpanzees and orangutans do too. An internal study found they have the same U-shaped curve of happiness linked to mid-life crisis in humans.

The study found chimps and orangutans were happiest when young, and in old age, but their happiness took a dip in the middle of their lives.
