Driver points gun at woman on Gammon Road

MADISON (WKOW) -- A frightened 28-year old Madison woman called for police after a gun was pointed at her Monday morning.

The victim was driving in the 700 block of S. Gammon Road when a small, silver, 4-door car pulled up next to her at a stoplight near Watts Road.

The other driver motioned for her to roll down her window.  When she did, he began making threats prior to producing the handgun.

The woman hit the gas and drove off.  The victim thought the gunman might be connected to a man with whom she had a prior relationship.

She described the suspect as a black male, in his late 20's-early 30's.  He has short hair, dark complexion, facial scars, and was "scruffy looking".  The suspect was also wearing a black stocking cap and a gray sweatshirt.
