MADISON (WKOW) -- Some people may have been more in the mood for lamb this Thanksgiving. The Parthenon Gyros Restaurant on State Street handed out free gyros for about two hours on Thursday.
The small business wanted to mark 40 years in the community and figured Thanksgiving was the perfect day to give back to customers.
"We had a line out the door before we even started," said co-owner Erin Gomer. The restaurant owners said they hope the community will continue to support their business for a long time in the future.
