MADISON (WKOW) -- Gym class requirements could be changing in Madison Metro Public Schools.
The Wisconsin State Journal reports that on Monday school district staff will recommend the Madison Metro board allow junior and senior student athletes to get a half-credit in a different subject instead of physical education(PE).
A state law passed in 2011 allowed schools that option.
