Badger women cruise past Evansville, 73-55

MADISON, Wis. – With a balanced attack on offense, the Wisconsin women's basketball team defeated Evansville 73-55 Sunday afternoon at the Kohl Center. The Badgers scored 42 points in the paint and had three players score in double digits.
·         Morgan Paige led the Badgers with 19 points, her fifth double-digit scoring performance this season.
·         Taylor Wurtz finished with 11 points and needs just five more to reach 1,000 for her career.
·         Tiera Stephen posted a career-high 13 points and a season-high seven assists.
·         The Badgers outrebounded the Purple Aces 40-31, pulling down 17 boards on offense.
Wisconsin travels to Virginia Tech on Wednesday to play in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge at 6 p.m. The Badgers return to the Kohl Center on Saturday to host Alabama at 2 p.m.
