MADISON (WKOW) -- There's no time like the present to get prepared for the coming winter. Especially when it comes to driving in the cold and snowy weather. Ready Wisconsin wants to make sure that everyone is prepared this winter season for any emergency great or small.
You can help protect your family by getting a simple winter car kit that you keep with you in your car at all times this winter. Ready Wisconsin recommends having a shovel, a blanket, jumper cables, and a cell phone with you in the car. You should also keep some bottled water and even some snack bars with you, just in case you get stuck in your car for an extended period of time.
