
JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- Shortly after 10:00 Tuesday morning, the Janesville Police Department responded to a report of a robbery in the 1200 block of Joliet.
A female reported she had backed our of her garage and stopped in her driveway to look at some papers. That's when, she says, a male opened the passenger door and climbed inside.
The man demanded money and threatened that he had a weapon, however, none was displayed.
After taking her money and some prescription medications, the suspect fled on foot.
The woman described the suspect as a black male in his 20's, wearing a black hat and a black hooded coat.
Officers and a K-9 team checked the area, but did not find the suspect.
