WASHINGTON (WKOW) -- The co-founder of New Glarus Brewing met with President Barack Obama Tuesday about his economic plan.
Deb Carey was one of 15 small business owners to speak with the president.
As part of his plan, the White House says Obama wants to extend middle class tax cuts and jumpstart small business hiring by cutting taxes for businesses that hire more workers or pay higher wages.
Carey and her husband, Dan, started New Glarus Brewing in 1993. The micro-brewery has grown to 50 full-time employees.
