MARSHFIELD (WKOW) -- On the surface, window cleaners wouldn't seem to lead particularly exciting lives; little did we know what some of them do on the side.
On Monday, three window cleaners in Marshfield revealed themselves as super heroes; much to the delight of young patients at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital.
The trio of heroes rappelled down the hospital towers, then met their adoring fans.
"Entertaining the children. I mean, they've been cooped up for a while, and it's just nice to make their day a little brighter, whether it's entertaining dressing as super heroes or just something as simple as cleaning windows and letting the sun shine through," said window cleaner/super hero Patrick Wallin.
Batman, Spiderman and Captain America were on their lunch breaks from Brite-Way Window Cleaning and organizers of the visit hope to make it an annual event for kids at the hospital.
