TOWN OF MIDDLETON (WKOW) -- The operator of a motorcycle was hospitalized Tuesday evening after a crash with an SUV.
It happened just before 4 p.m. at the intersection of Mineral Point Road and Pioneer Road in the Town of Middleton.
The Dane County Sheriff's Department says the SUV driver didn't see the motorcycle and pulled out into the intersection, where the vehicle collided with the motorcycle.
The biker, 35-year-old Allen Gresock, was thrown from the bike. He was taken by MedFlight to UW Hospital with severe but non-life threatening injuries.
Deputies say Gresock was wearing a helmet.
The 16-year-old driver of the SUV received a citation for failure to yield the right of way.
