GRANT COUNTY (WKOW) -- Authorities are investigating a hit and run after a driver discovered a man lying in the road with injuries early Wednesday morning.
Grant County officials say a woman was driving on University Farm Road in Lancaster around 4:30 a.m. when she came upon a 19-year-old man in the road. The man said he had been hit by a vehicle which fled from the scene.
The victim was airlifted to an area hospital with significant leg injuries.
The incident is under investigation.
