GRANT COUNTY (WKOW) -- A 16-year-old driver faces a homicide charge in a November crash that killed a teenage girl.
Grant County authorities have requested that Morgan Hoehne, 16, of Lancaster be charged with homicide by negligent use of a vehicle and three counts of reckless driving causing injuries. All charges are felonies, and were sent to the district attorney's office for review.
Makayla Hore, 15, of Lancaster was killed in the crash on November 21st. Hoehne and three other passengers were also hurt. They are all students at Lancaster High School.
Authorities say an initial investigation shows speed was a factor in the crash and all passengers were wearing seatbelts.
