Prison time for driver in fatal motorcycle crash

RACINE (WKOW) -- A motorcyclist will spend time in prison for killing a female passenger in a Racine County crash.

A Racine County judge sentenced Brandon Seibert to six years in prison and 10 years supervision Thursday. The judge called Seibert a "train wreck waiting to happen."

In September 2011, 24-year-old Melissa Corona was killed when the bike Seibert was driving crashed in a construction zone. Seibert didn't have a license, was speeding, and fled from the crash scene.

Family members say Corona was raising a son, now four, attending the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and waitressing at a restaurant.

The Journal Times says Seibert must also pay a $2,500 fine.
