MADISON (WKOW) -- One in five adults and 300,000 children suffer from arthritis in the U.S. and despite the cold weather expected this weekend, thousands of people will hit the pavement for a good cause on Saturday.
The 27th annual Jingle Bell Run/Walk, held in Madison at Vilas park, benefits the Arthritis Foundation. Participants can do the 10k run or the 5k run or walk.
On Saturday, registration and packet-pick-up begins at 8:30 a.m. The Run/Walk will begin at 10:30 a.m.
Online registration is closed, but more information is available and donations can still be made by clicking here.
Arthritis is the nation's leading cause of disability. All of the money raised at the event will benefit the Arthritis Foundation.
