KENOSHA (WKOW) -- Demolition efforts have begun at the old Chrysler engine plant in Kenosha that closed down two years ago.
According to a Kenosha News report, Mayor Keith Bosman says the demolition will continue for five or six months until the property is completely flat, and that the city has the option of taking control of the property once demolition is complete.
Cleanup and remediation of the site would take about 18 months.
Mayor Bosman says he'd like to see the site used for some sort of industrial development.
