MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- Reaction comes in to the Supreme Court's decision to hear cases involving same-sex marriage.
The court could decide if same-sex couples across the country have a constitutional right to marry. Currently, they do in nine states.
Milwaukee Archbishop Jerome Listecki says the Supreme Court may help settle the legal question, but it will have no impact on church teaching.
"So, we certainly look forward to the Supreme Court giving some type of wisdom or guidance, whatever the Supreme Court says though the teaching is pretty clear," said Listecki.
The Supreme Court is expected to hear the cases in March and a possible decision could come next summer.
