Madison police search for suspect in early morning stabbing

MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police are investigating an early morning stabbing.

They were called to 2309 Cypress Way around 1:30 a.m. Monday. Someone had been stabbed multiple times.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with stab wounds to the torso. Police say the suspect left the scene before officers go there. They used a canine to track the suspect, which led them north from the home, but police did not find the suspect.

The victim has non-life threatening injuries.
