MADISON (WKOW) -- An 18-year old Mount Horeb man faces trial for what authorities say was his fatal, baseball bat attack on an acquaintance.
Koalton Peterson appeared in Dane County Court Tuesday where he waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over for trial.
The court entered a not guilty plea for Peterson on a charge of reckless homicide.
Authorities say Peterson fatally attacked 20-year old Ryan Smith after Smith threatened Peterson, when a marijuana deal between the two men fell through.
