MIDDLETON (WKOW) -- Organizers of a gift donation program that helps families in need are asking for more support this holiday season.
Middleton Outreach Ministry (MOM)'s Sharing Christmas program matches about 500 area families and seniors with gift donors during the holidays. This year, they're still about 50 donors short of their goal.
Gift donors get a copy of a wish list written by the families. Last year the community provided more than $80,000 in gifts to people in need.
Visit MOM's website for more information on how you can become a donor, or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Matches will be made within 24 hours of receiving applications so that donors can begin shopping for items immediately. Financial donations are also welcome.
