Armed robbery at Afton bar

AFTON (WKOW)-- Rock County Sheriff's Office, along with Beloit and Janesville Police Departments responded to an armed robbery at the Friendly Village Bar in Afton.

Authorities say the suspect entered the bar dressed in all dark clothing, wearing a hockey mask. The suspect displayed a gun and demanded the bartender give him money from the cash register. The bartender gave the suspect an undetermined amount of cash, and the suspect fled the scene on foot.

The Rock County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
