TOMAH (WKOW) -- A Wisconsin man is dead after being found in a home that caught fire in Tomah.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Department says a woman called 911 late Wednesday to report the fire. She told dispatchers she couldn't find her husband.
The 50-year-old man was found in the basement. Emergency crews tried to save him, but he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The sheriff's department says it doesn't suspect foul play in the man's death. His name has not been released yet.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
