LAS CRUCES, N.M. (WKOW) -- A prisoner, infatuated with Justin Bieber, has admitted to investigators in New Mexico his hatched plot to kidnap and kill the pop star.

Dana Martin's infatuation includes a tattoo of Bieber on his leg.

New Mexico district court documents state Martin told investigators he befriended a man in prison and persuaded him and the man's nephew to kill Bieber, Bieber's bodyguard and two others not connected to the star.

Martin says Mark Staake and Tanner Ruane headed east, planning to be near a Bieber concert in New York City, when they took a wrong turn.  That turn landed them in Canada.  Staake was arrested on an outstanding warrant.  Ruane was arrested later.

Both men face multiple charges stemming for the alleged plot.
