MADISON (WKOW) -- The Madison community is honoring victims of Friday's shooting rampage at a Connecticut elementary school.
A group gathered on the state Capitol steps Sunday night to pay tribute to the 20 children and 6 adults killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.
Organizers say it's a way to honor those lost while hoping for an end to violence.
This candlelight vigil comes at the same time as the Sikh communities in both Brookfield and Madison are holding services of their own, and the Newtown community welcomes President Obama to remember the victims Sunday night.
