Marquette County officials seeking information in copper thefts


MARQUETTE COUNTY (WKOW) -- The Marquette County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to identify the suspect(s) in several copper thefts in the county.

The Sheriff's Office says it is investigating copper thefts in Moundville. They say the thefts occurred between November 19 and December 12 behind the Gohl Post, located on County Highway CX, and near the intersection of County Highway O and County Highway CX.

Police say copper wiring was stolen from those locations.
