Madison man arrested for 5th OWI

MADISON (WKOW) -- A Madison man is arrested for his 5th OWI offense.

Around 12:25 a.m. Tuesday, a Dane County Sheriff's Office deputy arrested Robert E. Opsal II, 42, for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated - 5th Offense.

The deputy stopped a vehicle without a license plate on Christianson Avenue in the Town of Blooming Grove. The deputy says Opsal failed a field sobriety tests and was arrested for Felony OWI and Felony Bail Jumping.

Opsal is in the Dane County Jail.
