Business/organization cancellations & information

MADISON (WKOW) -- Due to the winter storm Thursday, many organizations and businesses in Madison remain closed Friday.

Here is a full list of closures and cancellations:

All Meriter Health Services clinics will be closed Friday. Meriter Hospital and the Emergency Department remain open.
City of Madison offices and facilities will be delayed until 10 a.m. Friday.
DeForest Area Food Pantry reopens Saturday, December 22 from 9:00-10:00 a.m.
Pellitteri Waste Systems services normally performed on Thursday, December 20, will be performed Friday, December 21. All services normally performed on Friday, December 21, will be performed Saturday, December 22nd.
Empire Beauty School closed Friday, December 21.
Columbia Healthcare Center - Wyocena - open house postponed to Thursday, December 27 from 4-6 p.m. Resident holiday parties are postponed to Friday, December 21 at 2:30 p.m.
BD Diagnostics in Madison will reopen for business December 27.
Braids N Britches Daycare - Columbus and Rio - closed Friday.
Home Health United - Meals On Wheels will be closed Friday. The noon meal will not be delivered due to the storm.
Public Heath-Madison and Dane County reports that all of its offices and clinics will be Friday, December 21 due to continuing extreme weather conditions.
The Merrimac Ferry is expected to open at 4 p.m. Friday.
The Platteville Senior Center and Meal Site will be closed Friday.
Evansville Golf Club will not be open for Friday night fish fry.
Overture Center for the Arts is closed Friday during business hours. However, Friday night's performances of A Christmas Carol and Girls, both at 7 p.m., will go on as planned. Normal operations will resume Saturday.
