MADISON (WKOW) -- The University of Wisconsin-Madison says it will resume normal operations Friday.
The university says all of Friday and Saturday's scheduled final exams will be held. Employees should report to work as usual.
UW was open only for essential operations on Thursday.
MADISON (WKOW) -- The University of Wisconsin-Madison will be open only for essential operations on Thursday, with scheduled in-person final exams now canceled.
Students who have finals scheduled for Thursday are asked to await information from their instructors, who have been directed to offer alternative final exams or make grade evaluations based on work to date.
The university expects finals on Friday and Saturday to be held as scheduled.
Instructors are being informed in-person exam meetings cannot be held or re-scheduled to Friday or Saturday.
The campus is expected to reopen for normal business on Friday and more information about Friday's status will be provided later on Thursday.
