GREEN BAY/EAU CLAIRE (WKOW) -- The Friday before Christmas tends to be one of the busiest travel days of the year, but it won't be easy, even after you get out of the Madison area.
Roads are snow covered on the way up to Green Bay.
The area received more than 6 inches of snow Thursday.
Drivers handled it well; no serious crashes were reported.
And you'll run into more snow if you head up Interstate 94.
Tow trucks were busy near Eau Claire in western Wisconsin.
The area received 4 inches of snow; that's on top of the more than a foot that fell there two weeks ago.
