MADISON (WKOW) -- Alliant Energy is putting forth its last effort to restore power to the remaining customers without power.
As of 10 a.m. Sunday, Alliant Energy's web site indicated about 28 customers remain without power in Wisconsin. Alliant's Wisconsin coverage area includes most of the counties in the WKOW, Channel 27 viewing area.
MADISON (WKOW) -- Alliant Energy said it made a good bit of progress Friday night into Saturday morning in its efforts to restore power to its customers.
As of 3:00 p.m. Saturday, Alliant Energy's web site indicated a little more than 50 customers without power in Wisconsin. Alliant's Wisconsin coverage area includes most of the counties in the WKOW, Channel 27 viewing area.
Saturday morning, a spokesperson for the company told Channel 27 areas in Mount Horeb have been hard for crews to access.
Madison Gas and Electric told our newsroom Friday evening that it expected all of its customers to have power restored by Saturday morning.
