MADISON (WKOW) -- The Great Dane Pub carried out its 16th annual Adopt a Family program this year, filling a list of needs and wants for 19 local families.
The Great Dane says it raised about $25,000 this year, and some employees joined Santa Sunday to deliver some of the items.
"Opening a gift, no matter if it's a bed, or a dining room set, or a toy or clothes -- these children just really, really appreciate everything they get," said Ted Peterson, Great Dane's Director of Operations.
Allied Wellness and the Madison Metro School District help the Great Dane finds families in need each year.
The 19 families on the shopping list this year have a combined 68 children.
