MADISON (WKOW) -- Santa had some competition at the Ronald McDonald House this Christmas Day -- Ronald himself visited the guests.
People staying at the home designed for families of hospital patients woke to gifts outside their doors on Christmas morning.
One family, who lives two hours away, says they're grateful the house is there for them this holiday so they have a place to stay close to Meriter Hospital. Justin Bogedin has been at the house with his daughter since Monday while his wife is in the hospital, awaiting what could be a pre-term birth.
