Record sales of Badger gear

MADISON (WKOW) -- Badgers gear flew off the shelves in record fashion this year.

The University of Wisconsin says sales of Badger merchandise topped $3.75 million this year, breaking the record from last year.

Half of that money went to a program that provides need-based financial aid for undergraduates.

Nearly $2 million was distributed to more than 2,300 students.
