Police look for suspect in Madison bank robbery

MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police are searching for a suspect who stole money from a southwest side bank.

Police say a man entered the Anchor Bank on Raymond Road at about 2:30 p.m. on Friday. The man demanded the teller give him money, and left the bank on foot with an undisclosed about of cash.

The man did not show a weapon or mention having one.

Police ask anyone with information on this crime to call Madison Area Crime Stoppers at (608) 266-6014 or text DANE plus your tip to 274637 (CRIMES).
