Sidewalks cleared of snow by noon today

MADISON (WKOW) -- The City of Madison says the snow we got on Friday, that continued into Saturday morning will be removed from the public sidewalks by noon on Sunday.

The City of Madison says that any ice that can't be removed shall be treated with sand and/or salt to provide traction.

Free sand can be found at Sycamore Park, Monona Golf Course, Olbrich Park, Tenney Park, Garner Park and Elver Park.

There will be no sand at Warner Park this winter because of construction.
