UPDATE: Madison families ring in 2013 at U.S. Bank Eve

MADISON (WKOW) -- People celebrated the 2013 New Year with an annual tradition in Madison-- U.S. Bank Eve.

U.S. Bank Eve is a family-friendly event that brings together families from all over Madison.

The celebration is held at seven different locations throughout the Madison area, with lots of fun activities for kids, like bouncy houses, a mini-circus, magic shows and other performers.

Organizers say U.S. Bank Eve usually brings about 12-thousand people out to all of the seven events. This is the 22nd year.

MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison families who want to celebrate New Year's can do it at seven locations Monday evening as U.S. Bank Eve kicks off again.

Here is a list of the venues and what's going on:

U.S. Bank Plaza - 1 Pinckney St. 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. - Confetti Canons, balloon artist, airbrush tattoos, photo booth fun, Captain Shield

Madison Children's Museum - 100 N. Hamilton St. 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. - Kiddie Countdown at 7:30 p.m., face painting, crafts

Monona Terrace - 1 John Nolen Dr. 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. - Finale Countdown at 9:30 p.m., Story time, Rick Wilcox's Magic Show, Try It Yourself Circus, Bubble Wonders

Olbrich Botanicals Gardens - 3330 Atwood Ave. 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. - Zoo animals conservatory, family photos, HolidayTrain/Flower show

Keva Sports Center - 8312 Forsythia St. Middleton 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. - Music DJ, indoor ball drop at 7:30 p.m., decorate your own cookies, sports, crafts, inflatables

Prairie Athletic Club/Sun Prairie Ice Arena - 1010 N. Bird St./ 655 Athletic Way, Sun Prairie 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. - Tropical birds, swimming, gym games, cakewalk

Tickets are available at all 10 U.S. Bank branches in Madison during regular hours through Monday, December 31. Branches close at 3:00 p.m. on New Year's Eve.
