Husband of missing woman arrested

MADISON (WKOW) -- The husband of a woman who went missing last week has been arrested.

Madison Police say Frankie Brandon, 18, was being held against her will earlier this week. Police had put out a missing persons alert to locate her, saying she may be with her husband, Andres Uscanga, who was considered armed and dangerous.

Police learned the two might be at a Wisconsin Dells motel. They got help from Lake Delton police finding the suspect's vehicle and took him into custody on New Year's Day around 2:00 a.m.

Brandon was located in fair condition, with injuries that were consistent with having been beaten.

Uscanga, 20, was taken to the Dane County Jail on charges of Domestic Kidnapping, Disorderly Conduct, Battery, Obstructing and False Imprisonment.
