Along with the snow removal, residents are reminded to dig out their carts, Christmas trees and brush from snow banks to insure material will be collected.
Madison recycling coordinator, George Dreckmann, says "We always encounter problems with carts and other items being buried in snow banks at this time of year." He went on to say, "we need help from residents in removing items such as Christmas trees, branches, carts, and furniture from the snow."
Dreckmann says, "We will not be able to collect refuse and recycling in these areas unless carts are dug out of the snow."
