BROTHERTOWN, Wis. (WKOW) -- Calumet County authorities say they are investigating the death of a man whose body was found buried beneath straw at a dairy farm in the town of Brothertown, in eastern Wisconsin.
The Calumet County Sheriff's Office told the Appleton Post-Crescent individuals on the farm contacted police just after 3:00 p.m. Friday, when the body was found in a part of a barn where hay is stored.
The office also says it appears the man was moving straw when it collapsed on top of him and it's unknown how long he was buried.
Other individuals began looking for the man when they noticed an unmanned tractor still running in the yard.
Autopsy results were pending.
The man's name was withheld until family members could be notified.
