JANESVILLE (WKOW)-- Janesville police arrest a man for a stabbing.
Police were sent to the 500 block of Franklin Street for a report of a stabbing Sunday around 4:00 p.m. It was reported to officers that two men were arguing over the theft of a coat and an iPod, when police say Kenneth H. Dorsey, 55, of Milton pulled out a folding knife and stabbed the other man multiple times in the right leg and left arm.
Police say Dorsey fled from the home prior to officer arrival. He was later arrested at the 400 block of North Chatham Street.
Dorsey is being held at the Rock County Jail pending an initial appearance in court. He is charged with 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety and disorderly conduct while armed with a dangerous weapon.
The victim, a 50-year-old Janesville man, was transported to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center with non-life threatening injuries.
