MADISON (WKOW) -- Hundreds of hotel rooms are likely to be part of plans for a new development in downtown Madison.
Judge Doyle Square is a proposed project just up Pinckney Street from the Monona Terrace.
It'll include rebuilding the Government East parking ramp.
A new study released Monday says Madison needs to add at least 400 hotel rooms near the Terrace to increase convention business.
Right now, the city is in the process of putting together its specifications, then developers will create their plans and bid on the project.
