MADISON (WKOW) -- State Assembly leaders will meet to talk about changing legislative rules as the new session starts.
Details of the changes are expected to be released Tuesday after the leadership meeting.
Assembly Speaker Robin Vos has repeatedly said he wants to find ways to stop the Assembly from debating bills late into the night, sometimes until the sun rises. Leaders will talk about that, and are also expected to cover whether visitors in the gallery can take pictures.
The minority party has frequently used the tactic of delaying debate or votes on bills. Assembly Minority Leader, Democrat Peter Barca, said Monday he would oppose any changes that would limit debate.
