Milwaukee Bucks say goodbye to their head coach

MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- Scott Skiles is no longer the head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks.

According to USA Today, the decision to leave was mutual between Skiles and the team. NBA.com reported earlier that Skiles told the Bucks he did not want to come back after this season. However, the team had asked him to keep an open mind.

Skiles has been the head coach since the 2008-2009 season and was in the last year of his contract with the Bucks. Assistant coach Jim Boylan will assume the role of head coach.

The Bucks are 16-16 this season after losing four straight games.
