UW Women's Basketball Team Falls to Iowa 65-56

MADISON, Wis. (WKOW) – In a game that saw 11 ties and eight lead changes, all it took was one big stop to change the game.  When Wisconsin went cold, Iowa heated up, using a 14-0 run to claim a 65-56 victory at the Kohl Center Thursday night.
 
·         Wisconsin falls to 8-8 overall and 0-3 in the Big Ten. Iowa improves to 13-4 overall and 2-1 in league play.
·         Wisconsin went without a field goal from 12:00 to 3:53 in the second half. Iowa capitalized with a 14-0 run during the span.
·         UW had four players score in double digits, led by Morgan Paige with 18.
·         Nicole Bauman and Tiera Stephen were both a perfect 4-of-4 from the free throw line. Bauman has made 14-of-15 (93.3%) of her free throws this season.
·         Iowa's Samantha Logic was one assist away from a triple-double. Logic finished with 12 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists.
·         Wisconsin hits the road for Big Ten play on Sunday when it travels to Michigan for a 1 p.m. game. The game will air live on BTN.
