Authorities look for dog that bit man on Tuesday


MADISON (WKOW) – The Department of Public Health is looking for a dog that bit a man Tuesday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 12:00 p.m. near Wiggies Bar on the 1900 block of Aberg Avenue.

According to the report, the dog was running lose and bit the man when he approached it.  The dog is described as a brown pit bull with white markings on its chest.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police and fire dispatcher at 608-255-2345 and ask for the animal services officer.
