MADISON (WKOW) -- A beautiful Saturday in the 40's meant the 6th annual Polar Dash would be a little less polar than usual.
The Polar Dash, put on by Meriter Hospital and Physicians Plus, usually includes some sleds, but on Saturday kids pulled wagons around on the race course instead because there was no snow.
It's a signature event for the "Go Get Out Campaign", which aims to combat childhood obesity.
"We're trying to help out those that we serve by teaching kids and families how critically important healthy activity is," says Scott Shoemaker, with Physicians Plus.
