SHEBOYGAN (WKOW) -- Sheboygan police release information about a weekend fatal stabbing.
41-year-old Nicholas Lehrke was stabbed in the back Saturday afternoon. He was transported to a hospital, where he later died.
Police say a 21-year-old Oshkosh man has been arrested on suspicion of second-degree reckless homicide. He was taken into custody at the scene.
Lehrke lived in the same building as a friend of the suspect. Police say Lehrke and the friend were fighting outside the building when the suspect stepped in and stabbed him.
Alcohol may have played a role in the overall altercation.
